Here I'm to share my experience of coloring my hair from black to ombre.
I was already having L'Oreal Paris hair color in iced chocolate (415) with little blond highlights. After like 6 months I went to salon to try out a new ombre look for my birthday.
First I was going to try Rachel Green (Jennifer Anniston) hair color from friends series, but ended with beautiful ombre hair with high low key of brown shades on my crown.
If you wanted to ombre your hair at home I'll suggest you to try on: , buy it on flipkart, ebay or amazon. They do have colors like caramel and dark brown, etc.
Buy it and follow the instruction carefully. Do test yourself before trying on the product, If your allergic or something.
So let me share some experience here..
I choose to color myself in enhance because I'm really satisfied with L'Oreal products.
So I reached to enhance by 2 in the afternoon.
I explained them the way I want my hair to look. and they started with washing my hair, they used L'Oreal products for washing and conditioning my hair and they blow dry it.
They started to color my roots by dark brown color and then the lower part of my hair by blond and the tip by ash blond. they roll up my hair by foils one by one. they colored my hair by making little little sections of my hair.
Those color smell was giving me little headache. yeah off course it will, its all chemical in your head.
They kept color for like more than 45 mins and then they wash it off. This time they took a bowl and a sponge to wash off and then what I was seeing my whole new hair in blond color.
Then they went up to my crown part and make the thin section like very very thin and colored the brown( I don't remember the exact shade).
They clean up everything nicely and gave my hair a blouncy curls which was very sweet of them.
I spend total 5 hours over there. I got out of salon like at 7 in the evening. They charged me like 3k for whole global and highlights stuff. I'm very satisfied by their whole work on my hair.
My hair got little rough though. I have been using coconut oil and conditioning very well to balance my smooth and soft hair.
Having a trendy and colored hair is always my kind of thing..
I would suggest you to go salon and get treated like princess rather than buying the hair color products which will cost you same as salon. If you really feel like salon staff won't understand the way you want then do it yourself at home..
